Natasha Joelle Silva has been with Fundacion Parke Nacional Aruba (FPNA) since November 1, 2016, currently in the position of Chief Conservation Officer. Natasha is international and multi-cultural; born and now living in Aruba again, after having lived, studied and worked on various islands in the Bahamas, England and the Netherlands. She is a cultural anthropologist (Utrecht University), museologist (Reinwardt Academy) and qualified lecturer in biology (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences), specializing in natural history collections, ecology, sustainability and development. Natasha has worked for several nature organizations, including Natura Artis Magistra, International Zoo Educators Association (IZE), IVN and Vogelpark Avifauna. She has experience as a board member, project leader and as manager of both multicultural and multidisciplinary teams of professionals and volunteers.

Natasha Joelle Silva is sinds 1 november 2016 werkzaam bij Fundacion Parke Nacional Aruba (FPNA), tegenwoordig in de functie van Chief Conservation Officer. Natasha is internationaal en multi-cultureel gevormd; geboren en inmiddels weer woonachtig op Aruba, na op verschillende eilanden in de Bahamas, in England en Nederland te hebben gewoond, gestudeerd en gewerkt. Ze is cultureel antropoloog (Universiteit Utrecht), museoloog (Reinwardt Academie) en bevoegd docente biologie (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences), gespecialiseerd in natuurhistorische collecties, ecologie, duurzaamheid en ontwikkeling. Natasha heeft voor verschillende natuurorganisaties gewerkt, waaronder Natura Artis Magistra, International Zoo Educators Association (IZE), IVN en Vogelpark Avifauna. Ze heeft ervaring als bestuurslid, projectleider en als leidinggevende van zowel multiculturele als multidisciplinaire teams van professionals en vrijwilligers.

Dr. Delno L.A. Tromp was born on the island of Bonaire, in the Dutch Antilles.  He is multi-lingual and holds a PhD degree in Business Administration.Over the years, he has held positions as Tourism Board marketer for Bonaire, author, manager, university professor and Government Commissioner on the island of Bonaire.  Since 2017 he is the   Director of the Kura Hulanda Museum of Trans-Atlantic Slave trade—the largest slave museum in the Caribbean documenting slave capture in Africa through the Middle Passage and the relocation in the New World. He is also the President of the Board of STINAPA which is the Bonaire National Parks Foundation. His artistic career includes photography and more recently paintings. Much of his effort goes into using his art to support many charitable organizations on the islands of Bonaire and Curaçao where he splits his time.

Dr. Delno L.A. Tromp werd geboren op het eiland Bonaire, op de Nederlandse Antillen. Hij is meertalig en heeft een doctoraat in Business Administration. In de loop der jaren heeft hij functies bekleed als marketeer van de Tourism Board voor Bonaire, auteur, manager, universiteitsprofessor en regeringscommissaris op het eiland Bonaire. Sinds 2017 is hij directeur van het Kura Hulanda Museum of Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade – het grootste slavenmuseum in het Caribisch gebied dat de slavenvangst in Afrika via de Middle Passage en de verplaatsing in de Nieuwe Wereld documenteert. Hij is ook de voorzitter van het bestuur van STINAPA, de Bonaire National Parks Foundation. Zijn artistieke carrière omvat fotografie en meer recentelijk schilderijen. Veel van zijn inspanningen steken hij in het gebruik van zijn kunst ter ondersteuning van vele liefdadigheidsorganisaties op de eilanden Bonaire en Curaçao waar hij zijn tijd verdeelt.

Marguerita Wever is the Head of the Education and Presentation Department of the Museo Arqueologico Nacional Aruba (MANA), the National Archaeological Museum of Aruba. In this position, she is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the formal and informal education programming of MANA, as well as the formulation and implementation of the public programming. Some of these activities and events are organized in collaboration with other cultural institutions. She also provides the PR of the archaeological museum. Since 2003, she has worked at MANA and for instance contributed to the interactive permanent exhibition that opened in 2009 in its new location, as well as to other temporary national and international exhibitions. Marguerita Wever obtained her Higher Professional Education at the Hogeschool Windesheim, Zwolle, The Netherlands, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communication.

Marguerita Wever is het Hoofd van de Afdeling  Educatie en Presentatie van het Museo Arqueologico Nacional Aruba (MANA),  het Nationaal Archaeologisch Museum van Aruba. In deze functie, is zij verantwoordelijk voor de formulering en implementatie van formele en informele educatie programma’s van MANA en tevens voor de formulering en implementatie van het publieke programma. Sommige van deze activiteiten en evenementen worden in samenwerking met andere culturele instellingen georganiseerd. Daarnaast verzorgt zij de PR van het archeologisch museum. Sinds 2003 werkzaam bij MANA, heeft zij onder andere bijgedragen aan de interactieve permanente expositie die in 2009 in haar nieuwe locatie werd geopend, als ook aan verschillende tijdelijke nationale en internationale exposities. Marguerita Wever is afgestudeerd aan de Hogeschool Windesheim, Zwolle, Nederland in de richting Bedrijfscommunicatie.

Michèle Russel-Capriles has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. Back at home she learned on the job – in business, politics and non-profit. As her interests evolved, Michèle took courses, participated in workshops and avidly read, looking for ways to integrate and combine her skills, strengths and passions. Out of college Michèle worked in commercial banking, after which she served one term in parliament, followed by an intense few years running a program to conmemorate 500 years of written history in Curaçao. Since then she has worked and volunteered in several non-profit organizations: setting up an art center, presiding over museums, curating exhibitions, coordinating projects, organizing events, researching and writing and evaluating grant requests. Currently Michèle is the chairman of the Jewish Cultural Historical Museum and treasurer at Landhuis Bloemhof. She also executes projects at both museums and is active as a visual artist.

Michèle heeft een bachelordiploma in internationale betrekkingen van de University of Pennsylvania. Thuis leerde ze op het werk – in het bedrijfsleven, de politiek en de non-profit. Terwijl haar interesses evolueerden, volgde Michèle cursussen, nam ze deel aan workshops en las ze gretig, op zoek naar manieren om haar vaardigheden, sterke punten en passies te integreren en te combineren. Na haar studie werkte Michèle in het commerciële bankwezen, waarna ze een termijn in het parlement diende, gevolgd door een paar intense jaren met een programma ter herdenking van 500 jaar geschreven geschiedenis op Curaçao. Sindsdien heeft ze gewerkt en vrijwilligerswerk gedaan in verschillende non-profitorganisaties: het opzetten van een kunstcentrum, het voorzitten van musea, het samenstellen van tentoonstellingen, het coördineren van projecten, het organiseren van evenementen, het onderzoeken en schrijven en evalueren van subsidieaanvragen. Momenteel is Michèle voorzitter van het Joods Cultuurhistorisch Museum en penningmeester bij Landhuis Bloemhof. Daarnaast voert ze projecten uit in beide musea en is ze actief als beeldend kunstenaar.

Arminda Franken-Ruiz is an independent heritage specialist with a degree in geology and law, with experience in cultural and natural heritage management. As a heritage professional, she led the acclaimed National Archaeological Museum of Aruba, a project of the European Development Fund, for more than a decade. She has developed, implemented and promoted research projects related to the cultural and natural resources of her island and the Caribbean through inclusive collaborative projects. As a board member of the Fundacion 1403, she recently led the financing, editing and publishing of the Catalog of Native American Rock Art of Aruba. Her current work includes establishing a policy for the conservation of pre-Columbian rock art of the Dutch Caribbean and developing an archaeological site into a cultural endeavor. She has been an advisor to the Mondriaan Fund since January 1st, 2020.

Arminda Franken-Ruiz is een onafhankelijke erfgoedspecialist afgestudeerd in geologie en rechten, met ervaring in het beheer van cultureel en natuurlijk erfgoed. Als erfgoedprofessional leidde ze voor meer dan tien jaar het veelgeprezen Nationaal Archeologisch Museum van Aruba, een project van het Europees Ontwikkelingsfonds. Ze heeft onderzoeksprojecten met betrekking tot de culturele en natuurlijke rijkdommen van haar eiland en het Caribisch gebied ontwikkeld, geïmplementeerd en gepromoot via inclusieve samenwerkingsprojecten. Als bestuurslid van de Fundacion 1403 leidde ze onlangs de financiering, redactie en publicatie van de catalogus van Indiaanse rotstekeningen van Aruba. Haar huidige werk omvat het opstellen van een beleid voor het behoud van precolumbiaanse rotstekeningen van de Nederlandse Cariben en het ontwikkelen van een archeologische vindplaats tot een culturele onderneming. Sinds 1 januari 2020 is zij adviseur van het Mondriaan Fonds.
