How do I join or renew my MAC membership?
You may join MAC or renew your MAC membership via our website. Your membership must be up to date in order to receive discounted conference registration rates. The 2024 MAC membership year runs from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025. If you are new to MAC, you can learn about our membership benefits on the above linked page.
What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept credit cards and
wire transfers.
Please make sure to complete all steps for registration: the online registration
form and your registration payment.
Registrations are not confirmed until payment is received. A receipt will be
issued to the email address you use at
registration automatically (for credit card payments) or manually by MAC’s
Treasurer or Secretariat (for wire
transfers).
Do you have any volunteer opportunities?
Yes! We are an entirely volunteer-run organisation, and we are always looking for volunteers – including during the conference! Please send us an email expressing your interest in volunteering. In your email, please note your name and the language(s) you are comfortable working in (English, Spanish, French). A member of the Conference Committee will contact you.
Is there a student rate?
Yes! If you are a student, please register with your university’s email address.
How many people are included in the institutional rate? How do I register my group?
Institutions may register up to five people. For each person registered, please provide their name and email address.If your organization’s staff are registering and paying on your behalf, please follow the instructions in the registration form to register multiple people.
What is your policy on refunds or cancelling?
Cancellation requests received before September 30, 2024 will receive a 50% refund on registration, minus any processing or service fees. No refunds will be granted after September 30, 2024.
How do I request a refund?
All requests for refunds
must be submitted in writing via email. Requests for refund must be
submitted via email by September 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm EST.
Refunds must be submitted before October 5, 2024.
