After an unprecedented turnout last year, we are imposing a maximum capacity of 250 registrants.Registration rates increase after September 30, 2024. There will be no on-site registration at the conference. Last day to register is October 20, 2024.


To take advantage of the discounted membership rate, you must be a current MAC member for the membership year August 1, 2024 – July 31, 2025. MAC will verify membership status when confirming registration. As needed, renew membership before registering.

*Caribbean includes all the geographic Caribbean and the Circum-Caribbean region (the Atlantic/Caribbean coasts of South America, Central America, and Mexico).

CULTURAL TOURS

The following items are additional add-on purchases required at the time of registration.


Cultural tours will take place Friday and Saturday. Each day, two buses will depart on two different tour routes. One tour will take participants to the Caribbean coast, while the other tour heads to the Pacific coast.


The maximum number of attendees on each tour is 45 people. Lunch is included in all tours. Tickets are first-come, first-served. Book early to avoid disappointment!

    Public transportation in Panama includes the Metro (subway) and the Metro Bus. Rides on Line 1 of the Metro cost $0.35, while Line 2 costs $0.50. Payments can be made using a rechargeable Metro card or a credit card (Visa or Mastercard). The rechargeable Metro card costs USD 2.00, can be used for both the Metro and the Metro Bus, and can be purchased at Metro stations such as Iglesia del Carmen, Albrook, 5 de Mayo, San Miguelito, San Isidro, and Los Andes. For safety reasons, it is recommended to buy the card at Iglesia del Carmen or Albrook stations. The Metro operates from Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

    Most Metro Bus rides within the metropolitan area cost $0.25 and can be paid using a rechargeable Metro card. Yellow taxis are also widely available throughout the city, with most rides costing between $3 and $10, depending on the destination. However, it is highly recommended to use transportation platforms like Uber and Lyft, which are also available in Panama, as they offer increased safety.
