Trinbagonian Fellowship

The Museums Association of Caribbean (MAC) Fellowship is a professional development opportunity that provides financial support to Caribbean museum professionals to attend MAC’s annual conference. The goal of the fellowship is to develop a greater diversity of Caribbean museum professionals and to help make the field of Caribbean museums a viable option for more people. Priority consideration will be given to applicants from underrepresented groups, newcomers to the museum field (regardless of age), and/or applicants based on their needs.

Thanks to generous funding from the Smithsonian’s Reckoning with Our Racial Past program and National Museum of African American History & Culture – Office of Strategic Planning, MAC is able to offer local bursaries to residents of Trinidad and Tobago working in museums, cultural heritage, or arts sectors.

The fellowship will include:

  • 50% off conference registration fees
  • Access to all conference events
  • Complimentary admission to a Friday cultural tour
  • Complimentary one-year individual MAC membership
  • Fixed stipend for local travel arrangements

Application details will soon be released.
